Behind the Name

One of the hardest things for me to do is to pick fun, descriptive names for my online persona. I think at some point in my high school career, I registered over 5 names on AIM in less than 1 day. None of them lasted, and since my wild days of name experimentation in high school, I've kept it pretty standard with variations on my first and last name. When I decided to write a blog about my wedding process, I almost decided not to write a blog simply because I would have to come up with a name for it! However, my mom has been constantly suggesting that I write a blog about this whole planning process, and as I've had to make choices, a clear pattern has emerged - once I find what I like (whether after searching for 1 hour or several months) I pick it and don't look back. Hence, the decisive bride! It may not always seem that way, as I take my time making decisions on some things, but once I have the picture in my mind of what I want, I can find it and decide quickly with little thought given to other options. Hopefully this trait will continue to play out through the remainder of the planning process.. After all, I'm only about 3 months into a 14.5 month engagement!
